Also... technically it's more of a thriller but Cloverfield is probably the closest thing to a "favorite horror movie" I have lol. I love found footage stuff and sci-fi.

Hmmm I don't know if you ever seen The Crazies (1973) or its remake The Crazies (2010). Both are good, though for difference reasons. I enjoy the original for unease and unanswered, while the remake went less unease and more 'violent', removed a lot of the questions, but also had some fun scenes. Scary? I wouldn't say that persay, but survival horror? yeah more like that hehe.

It was scary for its time, but House on Haunted Hill (1959) is a movie I love, even if it's pretty goofy looking now. :B

Trick or treat! One that I would recommend is Doctor Sleep-- it's a sequel to The Shining, but rather than the evil hotel, the main villains are like essence vampires who target children who have the "Shining"/same psychic ability/potential as the (now grown up) Danny does. There's plenty of call-backs to the original, though!

Trick or Treat! I'm not much of a scary movie watcher, the only one I actually like is Trick r Treat. Sam is a cute little thing! But I do love horror podcasts XD May I rec Scared to Death to you!

I'm so bad at watching anything new, mostly I usually just rewatch Scream, Halloween and Friday the 13th franchises around this time of the year. Or watch youtube reactors watching them for the first time and see if they can guess Ghostface(s) correctly before the reveal, lol.
